Did You Know?
Currently 60 million people are on the move. One out of every 122 people on the planet today is out of their natural home. Every day 42,500 people are uprooted.
That is one person every two seconds.

THE NEW AMERICANS
THE BIBLE SPEAKS
THE BIBLE SPEAKS
The immigrants are coming.
The immigrants are coming. They are on the move, running, racing toward America! America's population is currently pegged at 320 million and will reach 438 million by 2050. If current birthrates and immigration flows continue, by midcentury an estimated 162 million Americans, or 37% of the population, will be immigrants and their US-born children.
What does the Bible teach us about welcoming immigrants into our communities? What biblical examples are relevant to how we should respond?
Belief In Action
The peoples of the world are coming to our cities, towns and communities. We recognize that the sovereign hand of the Lord has brought them and allowed our lives to be intertwined with theirs.
New Americans are now settled in our communities. How can we intentionally create a personal bond that will allow us to share the gospel?
What I believe determines what I do.
I believe God
- arranged the placement of new Americans in my community,
- wants to use me as His messenger,
- will guide and enable me to introduce them to Jesus.
